Marketing Coordinator – Detroit, MI Office

Are you a super talented, creative person ready to take on a significant role in the marketing and advertising for a global company? Come work for Blvd Suites!

Blvd Suites is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and detail-oriented marketing professional to develop and manage internal and external creative. Everything from graphic design to branding to web presence to tradeshow takeaways will fall under the responsibilities of the marketing coordinator.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer in supporting graphic design of presentation, collateral and digital initiatives, and coordinating and supporting various aspects of marketing initiatives (photo shoots, tradeshow merchandising and logistics, print collateral, social/digital initiatives, sponsorships, etc.).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The individual most express the brand look, feel, flavor and style by:

Planning and Strategy

  • Assist with the execution of the annual Marketing Plan and creative calendar
  • Ensure consistent brand image of the company in all media, including brand representation on product, while making it pleasing to our users clients and customers
  • Plans concepts by studying trends, and taking entire design process from start to finish
  • Assist in the evolution of the brand image
  • Assist in the organization and tracking of marketing budgets
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies
  • Assist with efforts to streamline efficiencies and processes

 Graphic Design

  • Design and execute production of consumer, competitor and client facing products and communication tools
  • Market and promote products and features so users understand what they’re getting and what the benefits are
  • Communicate effectively in a cross-functional team and present ideas and designs effectively
  • Design email campaigns, invites, conference and event programs
  • Work directly with client, event planning team, printer and vendors for concept approval and execution
  • Prepares print and web-ready final artwork, including overseeing quality assurance

Social Media & Web

  • Support social media presence by building calendar of planned activities, regular content and spontaneous communications
  • Tracking engagement and creating strategy to improve it
  • Update website regularly to improve user interface and customer experience

Tradeshow Coordination

  • Coordinate and assist in tradeshow merchandising and logistic efforts
  • Adhere to established budgetary standards, yet find creative ways to save money and drive strategic initiatives
  • Help coordinate in the booth management schedule
  • Assist in establishing and coordinating booth events

Promotional Events and Giveaways

  • Research, order with the approval, and facilitate promotional trade and consumer giveaways

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or Design
  • Strong computer skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office
  • Proven background in graphic design or marketing, and project management experience
  • Proven ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale
  • Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
  • Willingness to have fun and ability to work in a sometimes crazy/loud environment
  • This is a dog-friendly work environment so must be willing and able to work in an office space where dogs freely roam, say “hello” and generally laze about wherever they please

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience designing outstanding content for a consumer-oriented website
  • Video editing experience
  • Excellent CSS and HTML skills

Business Development Manager – Denver, CO Office

Blvd Suites Corporate Housing is seeking an enthusiastic sales professional to support our growth in the Greater Denver area.

Specifically, as Business Development Manager, you will have the responsibility for generating profitable revenue through the development of new (primary objective) and existing (secondary objective) client business. You will be expected to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. You will target clients that have local, national and global housing needs. You will be responsible for the local Colorado revenue that these clients generate, and will team with other sales associates who will handle the national and global revenue for these clients. You will be tasked with marketing Blvd Suites to apartment communities, companies and relocation specialists. You will also be required to participate in professional trade groups, such as ERC, and local apartment and relocation organizations as needed. You will be required to take part in all Blvd Suites webinars and teleconferences as they relate to your job function.

Market Specialist – London, UK Office

Blvd Suites Corporate Housing is looking to add a talented, enthusiastic team member to our growing London, UK office. This person will directly assist the office’s Business Manager by following up on leads and client inquiries, managing the office’s reservation database to ensure information is both accurate and thorough in support of Guest Services and Marketing efforts, and inspecting apartments to verify they meet or exceed our rigorous standards for quality and comfort, among other responsibilities. Must be an independent thinker who thrives on providing an exceptional client experience, and can work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
